Policy Environmental Policy Statement

1. The Company Responsibility • Manage all aspects of company business in ways that minimise impact on the environment and conserve natural resources. • Comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations. • Establish and comply with a company standard practice where laws and regulations are not adequately protective, or do not exist. As such, practices are necessary in order to preserve the environment. • Provide adequate environmental training, instruction and supervision to all staff. • Within eibe and throughout our supply chain, we ensure to the extent possible, that we minimise the use of single use plastics as a measure to further protect the environment from plastic pollution. Reusable or recycleable packaging is used wherever possible. Employee Responsibility Employees have a responsibility for the local environment on which they have a direct impact and must: • Actively minimise the risk of environmental contamination. • Assign environmental responsibility and accountability. 2. • Report defects of equipment, process or procedure with the potential to reduce environmental standards. • Assist the company in maintaining and improving environmental standards. • Provide the company with any information which may lead to the introduction of measures to improve environmental standards. Contract/Supplier Responsibilities Contractors or supplier supplying products or services to the company or acting on its behalf must: • Where possible, use environmentally friendly products and recycling techniques. • Upon request, make available relevant documentation for inspection and audit. • Co - operate with the company in selection, use, transportation and disposal of products or waste. • Co - operate with the company in the use of products and packaging. 3. • • Comply with legislation. Comply with company rules and standards. • • Adhere to company procedures. Minimise spills and contamination.
